The Belle Meade story began with a dog chain in the American Midwest and grew into furniture, living spaces and golf. We bring classic Western ways of living together with an Eastern sensitivity to proportion, materials and detail. From a dog by our side to spaces shared with friends and days on the course, everyday life inspires what we make. Natural leather, tactile fabrics and the timeless colours of Scottish tartan carry this design language into pieces made to accompany us, at home and on the course.

Our beginnings
1976
Belle Meade began in the American Midwest in 1976, making hardware, dog chains and leather accessories for dogs. Founder Tasy’s appreciation of materials, craftsmanship and everyday details laid the foundation for furniture and lifestyle design. A keen golfer, he finds focus and ease on the course—a love of life and sport that continues to inspire Belle Meade.

1993
In 1993, our furniture and lifestyle design headquarters was established in Collierville, Tennessee, connecting product development, warehousing and distribution with the market.
Indoor recreation
2001
In 2001, we expanded into indoor recreation furniture. Pool tables and game tables brought craftsmanship into spaces for gathering, playing and spending time together.
Original design & hospitality
2007–2014
In 2007, the Belle Meade (BM) furniture group began a new chapter in original design, bringing Eastern and Western aesthetics together through proportion, wood, leather and fabric. By 2014, this considered approach to living extended into hotels and golf clubs, shaping welcoming lobbies, dining rooms and member lounges.
Life around the course
2017
Belle Meade’s spatial design for the Sports Complex at BallenIsles Country Club exemplifies our approach to club life. Warm wood, comfortable furniture and open social spaces bring our understanding of materials and living into places to relax and gather after a round.
A sense of home
2024
Belle Meade Design (BMD) launched in 2024. Led by Tommy, it translates years of furniture design experience into an aesthetic attuned to everyday Asian living. BMD’s spaces have received multiple awards, combining relaxed proportions, fine leather and richly layered fabrics to bring Western classics and Eastern living naturally together. Old-money elegance grows from patient attention to materials, comfort and time.

2026
Belle Meade Golf (BMG) was born in 2026. Years of working with leather, fabrics and detail found a new expression in golf accessories. Individual hide markings meet classic Scottish-inspired checks in headcovers that combine protection, tactile character and personal style.
